About the Author I am a university lecturer in the Netherlands and writing a PhD thesis on Srebrenica. My PhD. project is supervised by Professor David Campbell at the Department of Politics of the University of Newcastle upon Tyne (UK). For my research on Srebrenica I have been awarded the Ida Smedley MacLean International Fellowship and a British Council Chevening Scholarship. I graduated at the Department of Politics of the University of Amsterdam in 1994, and received a postgraduate certificate in International Relations of the Research Centre of International Political Economy (Recipe) of the University of Amsterdam in 1996.
